As is the tradition each year, every fall the Québec mineral exploration industry comes together as one at Xplor. For 44 years now, the Québec Mineral Exploration Association has been working to increase mining exploration in Quebec and support development of Quebec’s mining entrepreneurship. The QMEA joins members from all walks of the industry, be it corporate members (including junior and major mining exploration companies), mining operation companies, engineering consulting firms in geology and geophysics, drilling companies, service companies, equipment suppliers, or individual members ranging from prospectors, geologists and geophysicists to brokers, tax experts, attorneys.

All come together every year at Xplor to learn, share, network, and stay current on all that’s happening and coming for the industry.

Introducing a rock solid Web site!

The QMEA has just launched a new and improved Web site as well as a new logo for its event, Xplor! This new platform has a whole new look and feel to mirror the industry’s evolution. Discover a most appealing and dynamic website offering user-friendly functionality for easy browsing and finding valuable information! Plus, the addition of an entirely new section completely dedicated to XPLOR provides enhanced function while also adding to its appeal!!

Xplor, the mining event of the year!

This year’s edition of the Xplor Convention will be held on October 23 & 24, for the first time at The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, in Montréal.  Stay tuned for the upcoming early bird promotion at $425 for both days, available soon! This price will be available until July 12^th. In addition, check out our early bird reservation rates for rooms at The Queen Elizabeth! Exhibitors at the Xplor trade show can also enjoy reduced rates. By the way, you can still book your booth!
