The Quebec Mineral Exploration Association’s mission is to promote sustainable and responsible exploration of Quebec’s mineral resources, as well as their essential contribution to the economy.
The vision of the QMEA is to become the point of reference in terms of mineral exploration expertise and responsible development in Quebec.
The non-profit organization now brings together 1,100 individual members (prospectors, geologists, geophysicists, brokers, tax specialists, lawyers, etc.) and 180 corporate members (junior and major mineral exploration companies, mining companies, geological and geophysical consulting firms, drilling companies, service companies, equipment manufacturers, etc.).
It was in Val d’Or, on Karl Glackmeyer’s porch, in the company of Jean Descarreaux and Clermont Lavoie that the history of the Prospectors Association of Quebec began.

Information on the candidates is available to all members voting during the period provided for this purpose. The results are revealed during the AGM.
