Exceptional speakers at Xplor 2024

2 October 2024

Xplor is a unique place for networking and meetings, but it’s also an event enriched by an eXceptional program, delivered by influential leaders in their respective fields. Our 2024 workshop offerings are diverse and relevant, designed to provide you with high-level content and in-depth knowledge. Here are the speakers you will meet at Xplor 2024:

New insights on crystal elements and their effects on the abundance of gold and base metals in the Archean Superior Province: We are proud to offer this workshop adapted for Xplor. It was a major success at the 2024 PDAC edition and will be one of the highlights of this year’s Xplor.

Martin Perron: A geological engineer by training and director at InnovExplo, Martin Perron has over 28 years of experience in the industry. His critical thinking and ability to integrate the technical aspects of daily challenges with economic constraints make him an indispensable expert. He is perfectly qualified to present the NI 43-101 regulation, essential for mining exploration companies.

Michel Houlé and Danielle Giovenazzo: These two highly active researchers will lead a conference on nickel and copper deposits associated with mafic and ultramafic magmatic systems. Known for their high-level expertise, they are also recognized for their communication skills across the country.

Stephan Séjourné: Since 2017, Stephan Séjourné has been the founding president of Enki GeoSolutions. He will introduce us to the rapidly expanding, yet still little-known, field of natural hydrogen. His presentation is based on studies conducted in various geological contexts worldwide.

Nadine Veillette: With extensive international experience, Nadine Veillette, president of Abitibi Géophysique, will lead a session titled Geophysics 101. She will clearly explain various geophysical methods, helping us discover their practical applications and respective capabilities.

Jacques Bonneau: A well-known figure in the mining sector, Jacques Bonneau will share his expertise on evaluating Junior companies and their growth potential. Participants will even have the opportunity to assess their favorite Junior companies through interactive exercises.
